Developer to Architect

Like many other developers, I am in a position where I have moved more to an architect role without any formal training in the arena of networking such us trusts, load balancers, DMZ's, VPN's etc. I'd love to see a course that covers the topics that as developers we fear we may not understand as well as we should and that can fundamentally influence our solution design.

        What kind of Architect ?

        Solution Architect
        Software Architect
        ...

        One of the problems with "Architect" is that there are many interpretations of this role, and perhaps one aspect of the course could be to consider these different viewpoints.
